The parent company GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd. (GHIAL) is a public-private joint venture between GMR Group (63%), Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB) (11%), the State Government of Telangana (13%) and the Airports Authority of India (13%), that has developed and is currently operating and maintaining the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) at Hyderabad, India. GMR Group, an infrastructure conglomerate has developed 2 prestigious International airports in India at Delhi & Hyderabad and is currently renovating & modernizing the Cebu Mactan International Airport in Philippines.
Located in the Indian Sub-Continent, GMR Aero Technic (GAT) has world class MRO infrastructure consisting of 3 hangars which includes one wide body hangar, one narrow body hangar, one narrow body paint hangar and support workshops, which are fully equipped with Tools, equipment, spares and skilled manpower, to perform maintenance checks for the Airbus A320 family, Boeing B737-NG, ATR 42/72 and Bombardier Q400 aircraft types.
In addition to the airframe maintenance, GAT provides Line Maintenance services at RGIA, Hyderabad to Gulf Air for A320, Air Asia for A320 aircraft and British Airways for their Boeing 787 & B767 and at Kathmandu Airport also.
